You pick an open departure and reserve. We may place a temporary authorisation hold to confirm the card is valid, but no money leaves your account. You can cancel anytime while the group is still forming.

GoAhead — the date locks, you're charged
When the fourth traveler joins, the departure is confirmed. Only now is your card charged the per-person price you saw. The operator is notified to run the tour.
It never fills? Auto-cancel, full refund
If the deadline passes without four travelers, the date is cancelled for everyone and any hold is released in full within your bank's normal window. You're free to join another departure.

The departure auto-cancels at its deadline and you owe nothing. Any authorisation hold is released in full by your bank, and we'll suggest similar dates that are closer to confirming.
Once a date is confirmed it follows the operator's cancellation policy, which is shown on every departure before you reserve. Most offer a full refund up to a set number of days before departure.
An operator registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities that we've verified — name, licence and rating shown on the departure. Sawa coordinates the group and your payment; the operator delivers the experience on the ground.
